Recent Sketchbook Sketches

Recent sketches using a new Pentel Brush pen.

Sketches from a Disney session where I was speaking about how to think through the form for shorter poses while still focusing on the character of the pose/person and her action.

More Brush pen samples focusing on character and how to apply line to compliment that stylistic choice.

A few more playful samples with the Pentel Brush pen.

Justin,
Thanks . . .it's nice to see your shiny face again, it's been awhile. Good to see you and your work again.

Tooninator,

Paul,
Good to see you as well at the Con and thanks for picking up some of the originals at the show . . . I hope you'll hang em' proud.

Hans,
Weird . . .I'll email you separately and give you my email address. We'll go doodle soon.

Marcelo,
Please . . . I owe it to you my friend. You're the one that spread the disease known as Pentel. This is all your fault.

Best,
