Here's a couple of sketches from a little trip to the Camarillo Outlet stores from this weekend. After becoming a uncle, it's been a nice eye-opener to spend some time and observe families with their children out in public.

R.O.B.O.T.s 03
Here's some more . . .yep, you guessed it . . .robots. These are all development sketches for a gaming project that I was asked to be a part of. I was asked to create as many versions as I could during this time, and asked not to make them pretty just to get the overall feel and character/shape for review. These were more on the cartoony/playful side rather than more realistic detail-oriented versions I developed later. I was asked to come up with designs in all shapes and sizes and in all versions of various styles. It was an open book with no limitations. Pretty fun to tackle an area I never really dove into before. It was a nice change of pace with plenty of challenges.

Uncle Mark!!!!
Happily there is a new edition to the family. My brother and his beautiful wife welcomed a healthy and rather large baby girl into the family. It doesn't get better than that.
